Marc Vermeulen, M.Sc., CWT

Marc Vermeulen began his career in water treatment as a product development Chemist with Nalco Chemicals Ltd. in 1992 after earning his B.Sc. degree at the University of British Columbia and his M.Sc. from the University of Alberta.  As well as Nalco Chemicals, Marc has worked for GE Betz Dearborn and Guardian Chemicals over his 26-year career in the water treatment industry.

Marc started his own consulting and water management company, Hawkstone Solutions based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, in September of 2012. The company is providing water treatment consulting and chemical treatment to a variety of industrial water users in Western Canada.

Marc is a member of the International Power Engineers of Canada and the Alberta Water & Wastewater Operators Association of Alberta.  In 2006, Marc earned his CWT designation.
